Dr. Alex Roberts – Owner/General Dentist
Dr. Alex Roberts is a Colorado native but grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University, where he was on the dean’s list and received a Bachelor of Science in 2003. Today, he is an active member of the Kansas State alumni association, serves on scholarship committees, and enjoys attending KSU sporting events.
After graduating from Kansas State, Dr. Roberts attended dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During dental school, Dr. Roberts received numerous scholarships and was selected into an Advanced Studies in Oral Surgery program where he gained valuable experience in complicated surgical procedures. One of his dental school highlights was traveling to Nicaragua to provide dental care to rural and underserved populations.
Dr. Roberts started his dental career in 2008 at a private practice in Kansas City. He gained a foundation in comprehensive dentistry including crowns and bridges, cosmetic dentistry, partials and dentures, root canals and oral surgery. In 2010, Dr. Roberts decided to come back to colorful Colorado and practiced in Arvada prior to purchasing Buffalo Park Dentistry from Dr. Powell.
Dr. Roberts has also been trained at the London Institute in Seattle, Washington in the placement of dental implants. He also completes many hours of continuing education every year in order to provide his patients with the highest quality of dental care in a safe and comfortable environment. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society.
In his time away from the office, Dr. Roberts enjoys traveling, cooking and any outdoor activity. He can be seen along the trails or fly fishing near Evergreen with his wife Nonie, their two kids Reid and Marley, and dog Bindi.
